The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly will hold its budget session for 62 days, beginning from February 2, 2026. During the session, the Assembly will observe 35 days of recess.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will present the Budget for the financial year 2026–27 on February 6. The budget session will continue till April 4, 2026.

In view of the holy month of Ramadan, the Assembly will remain adjourned from February 20 to March 26. The session is expected to witness discussions on key political, economic, and public issues of Jammu and Kashmir.
