The third and final webinar of this three-part series focuses on both the third and fourth phases of the development process: Construction and Operations. For construction, you will learn about construction administration activities, schedule and budget monitoring, funding advances, and preparing for operations. This is the phase where your vision starts taking physical shape as you actually build your structure and prepare to rent out the units. You will also learn about resident move-in, funding wrap-up, ongoing property management, and maintenance responsibilities for the Operations phase. The final phase is the realization of your idea and the completion of all the preceding steps.

This webinar will be presented by the Women’s Shelters Canada Second Stage Transitional Housing New Build team and Amanda Owens, Executive Director of ‘Ksan Society, a VAW organization that has experience with the development process.
