Wondering which natural food colors actually work in buttercream frosting? In this video, I’m testing and comparing some of the most popular dye-free food color brands:
🌿 PRSM Sugar Co. (Trucolor) – Red, Yellow, Sky Blue, Emeral and Holly Green (powders + liquids)
✨ Pixie Dust Naturals – Red Powder
🌱 Chefmaster Naturals – Dark Green Liquid

I mix 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of each color into 1/2 cup of buttercream to see how they perform right away—and how they develop after 24 hours. This isn’t a comparison exercise between the brands but rather a visual tool to help see how each color performs. In a future video i’ll show how using the immersion blender can help deepen these colors further.
