Can a free iPad app really replace $10,000 eye-gaze AAC devices?
In this video, I explain why I built Eli’s App and how it uses Apple’s built-in head tracking and eye tracking to help non-speaking users communicate — without expensive proprietary hardware.

This app started after watching close friends struggle to get insurance coverage for an AAC device for their young daughter with cerebral palsy. Most families are forced into systems that cost thousands of dollars, even though modern iPads already have the necessary sensors.
So I built an alternative.
