Features I like about the ER-7000:
The Name Sounds Cool!
Power LED.
Rounded Corner.
White Dial Indicator.
Headphone Jack.
Low Cost.
AA Operation.
Compact Size.

Features that could be Added or Improved on:
Improve Selectivity.
Longer FM Antenna.
Better Speaker.

Overall, the ER-7000 isn't too shabby. It is just not the best in class for its price. I recommend first looking into the XHDATA D-219, or Prunus J-166 to see if those will work for you.
