A video documenting our two-day hiking trip in the Pontic Alps (Kaçkar Mountains) in northeastern Turkey in September 2021. Originally, we were planning to traverse the entire mountain range and climb its highest peak (Kaçkar Dağı) over a week-long trip. But the weather prevented us from doing that as, in September already, there was meter-tall snow and below zero temperature at 2000 meters of elevation already; conditions that we weren't appropriately equipped to tackle.
