The last noisemaker I made needed a fancy box to live in, and I couldn't find anything that fit physically and aesthetically, so I decided to build my own. As most of my projects do, it began as a vague, abstract idea, and slowly evolved into something much more involved and complex. What was originally envisioned as a simple but elegant wooden enclosure for a nifty contraption wound up becoming another noisemaker in its own right as well. This video is a demo of some of the sounds it can make (routed through a cheap effects pedal to a little bass amp), and a revisiting of the features of the smaller one inside.
