Cooking a pork butt in the stone fireplace at the cabin using a weight driven spit jack from the 18th century and from the land of D'artagnan the famous musketeer. Gascony. This spit jack would have been used at the richest of the rich homes or castles. I purchased it from Philippe in France and built the pieces I needed to get it useable.
