The Ford Focus MK3 has a secret menu that will give access to some useful functions.

These are the secret menu functions with a list of some error codes:

1 Gauge sweep
2 LCD display test
3 LED indicator test
4 Chime test
5 ECOmode – status of the economy rating function
6 HW – hardware version
7 App – software version
8 NVM EEPROM – memory version
9 Manufacture date
10 DTC – diagnostic trouble codes
11 Speedo gauge in km/h and mph
12 Tacho gauge – engine rpm
13 Odometer in Km
14 Fuel% – raw fuel love data in HEX
15 Fuel flow
16 Engine temperature – coolant temperature
17 Battery voltage
18 Distance to empty – estimated distance to empty tank
19 AFE – average fuel economy
20 RAFE – running Average Fuel Economy
21 AFE Bias – adjustment of the fuel economy calculation (default: 1000)
22 A/D Input – values from analog and digital inputs

DTC to OBD conversion:

0=P0
1=P1  
2=P2 
3=P3
4=C0 
5=C1 
6=C2 
7=C3
8=B0
9=B1  
A=B2 
B=B3
C=U0
D=U1
E=U2
F=U3

DTC codes:
115A Low fuel level – limited engine performance
115B Low fuel level – forced engine shut down
9202 Fuel system circuit open (pump, fuel level sensor)
9204 Fuel system circuit short to ground
9317 Battery voltage too high (above 16V)
9318 Battery voltage too low (below 10V)
A286 MODE button stuck
9359 Engine starter circuit error
A477 Module configuration error
D262 CAN communication error (missing message)
E196 CAN communication error (engine RPM)
E197 CAN communication error (vehicle speed)
E198 CAN communication error (fuel level)
E199 CAN communication error (coolant temperature)
E200 CAN communication error (odometer)
E201 CAN communication error (ambient temperature)
