Every time I meet my friends or family, they somehow end up giving me something they think I can make better use of maybe it doesn’t fit them anymore, maybe they never wore it, or maybe they just know I’ll find a way to turn it into something new. It’s always so sweet.

But this time, it was a stranger 🫠 While shooting outdoors, I met the sweetest girl who told me she loved my work. She lived nearby and ran home to get me something, she thought I might like to upcycle. The kurta had a few defects and not much usable fabric, so figuring out what to make wasn’t easy. I ended up only using the top portion, and after a lot of trial, error, and stitching… it’s now this pretty little dress ✨ This is why I love upcycling every piece has a story, and every transformation feels magical.
