Classically-trained Two-Spirit song carrier, composer, activist, and ethnomusicologist Jeremy Dutcher is a Member of the Wolastoqiyik People of the Neqotkuk (formerly known as Tobique First Nation.) Jeremy Dutcher continues to explore their First Nations roots: celebrating the culture, addressing the endangered language and land rights, and correcting the record; Dutcher’s trio plays new music from 2023's Motewolonuwok (People of great spiritual power), in-studio for the #SoundcheckPodcast.
