পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বড় মা দুর্গা প্রতিমা তৈরি হচ্ছে রানাঘাটের কামালপুরে। কামালপুর অভিযান সংঘের ক্লাবে তৈরি হচ্ছে এই বিশাল কর্মকান্ড। ১২৫ ফুটের বেশি উচ্চতা হবে এই মা দুর্গার। গিনেস বুক অফ ওয়ার্ল্ড রেকর্ডে নাম তুলতে চলেছে এই প্রতিমা।

কিন্তু হঠাৎ করেই প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে এই কাজ বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হলো। এমনকি ২৪ ঘন্টা ধরে চলছে ওখানে পুলিশ পিকেটিং। যাতে কোন শিল্পী কাজ না করতে পারেন তার দিকেও নজর দেখা হচ্ছে। কিন্তু কেন এই রকম পরিস্থিতি তৈরি হলো। এ বিষয়ে সদ উত্তর দিতে পারছে না। পুলিশের সদুত্তর দিতে পারছেন না।

এর মাঝে শিল্পীদের অবস্থা খুবই খারাপ। প্রায় ৯০% কাজ এখনো হয়ে গেছে। শিল্পীরা মানসিক দিক থেকে ভেঙে পড়েছেন। এছাড়া ক্লাব কর্তৃপক্ষ এবং গ্রামের মানুষ খুবই হতাশ। শোনা যাচ্ছে তারা হাইকোর্টে গেছেন এই বিষয়টি নিয়ে। এখন হাইকোর্টের রায় দিকেই তাকিয়ে আছেন গোটা পশ্চিমবঙ্গবাসী। হাইকোর্ট ছাড়পত্র দিলে পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বড় দুর্গা তৈরি হবে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের রানাঘাটের কামালপুর অভিযান সংঘের মাঠে। এরমধ্যে শিল্পী এবং স্থানীয় মানুষের মনের যা অবস্থা তাই তুলে ধরা হয়েছে এই ভিডিওর মধ্যে দিয়ে।
