Steve Novella, M.D., is an academic clinical neurologist at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Novella is a medical advisor to Quackwatch, an associate editor of the Scientific Review of Alternative Medicine, and the executive editor of the Science-Based Medicine blog, and Senior Fellow to the James Randi Educational Foundation. He is the president and co-founder of the New England Skeptical Society where he writes the Neurologica blog and is also the host and producer of the popular weekly science podcast, The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe. He is the author of two courses by The Teaching Company, including Your Deceptive Mind: A Scientific Guide to Critical Thinking Skills.
