2017 BMW R1200RT - short November ride on German Autobahn - 140 mph

Short Autobahn ride starting in Lindau/Bodensee (Lake Constance) in Bavaria and also ending there. My first ride with the 2017 BMW R1200RT above 140 km/h (85 mph), since I bought it (in Switzerland). The maximum legal highway speed in Switzerland is 120 km/h and in Austria it's 130 km/h, no general speed limit on the German Autobahn unless one is posted (I guess it is going to change at some point when the Green Party get's into a government coalition in 2021...).

There is another guy on Youtube who hit 240 km/h with his 2014 RT LC, but I guess I'm too heavy and tall. Couldn't get beyond 230 km/h (140 mph). Sidebags on didn't help either I guess (had to transport something to Lindau). On the other hand, my 2016 BMW R1200R without sidebags and fairings did even worse, couldn't get that one beyond 225 km/h.

Maybe I'll do another attempt without sidebags in spring, going further north. This part of the Autobahn is very curvy and the low temperatures were scaring me a bit (tires on the cold road have less grip).
