Kenya National Union Of Teachers (KNUT) and Kenya Union Of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) from Gusii region, have issued a directive to all teachers not to reopen schools for the third term beginning 26th of august until the government implements fully their collective bargaining agreement. The union officials are also demanding for the reinstatement of teachers medical cover, employment of 20,000 senior teachers, confirmation of JSS teachers' as well as implementation of the scheme of promotion among demands.
