Great Oak was down as much as 12 points late in the 3rd quarter but a late surge cut the lead to 4 at the end of 3. In the 4th quarter the Wolfpack kept the barrage of 3 pointers going taking a lead with less than a minute to go. Fouled on a three point attempt, Crespi sophomore Malakai Perrantes made 3 pressure free throws to tie the game at 53. With 4.9 seconds left Great Oaks freshman Jaxon Allensworth let the hail mary go from halfcourt off the backboard and in for the game winning buzzer beater to knock off the number one seeded Crespi and advance. Great Oak hit 14 threes in the game. Allensworth had 5 of them himself including the game winning shot. Allensworth finished with 19 points. Teammate Gor-el Zollicoffer also connected on 5 from beyond the arc and scored 19 points. Joe Sterling led the Celts with 18 points in losing cause.
