If you are looking for a battery-operated mower, I would suggest this mower to you over many stand-alone brands because I believe that DEWALT tools will be around for a long time. The batteries and warranty will be here and you can buy hundreds of other tools to use the batteries with. I cannot say that about other brands who sell outdoor power equipment only. The chances of some of these companies being around in 10 more years are close to a 50/50 chance.
