Israel Warns Hezbollah, Threatens to Send Lebanon "Back to Stone Age" | Firstpost America

Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant wrapped up his four-day visit to Washington on Wednesday. During his visit, he discussed with US officials the ongoing security situation along the Israel-Lebanon border. He said that Israel's military is capable of sending Lebanon "back to Stone Age" in the event of war with Hezbollah. However, he stressed that his government prefers a diplomatic solution to the rising conflict. Meanwhile, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said that such a war would be catastrophic and Washington is urgently working towards a diplomatic agreement. Meanwhile, Gallant also discussed a three-level proposal to govern post-war Gaza during the visit.
