Location: 1790 E Concord Road
System: Clermont County
Test time: 1st Wednesday of the month at noon
Enthusiasts present: Tommy (‪@buckeyenotifications‬)

For the first Wednesday of the year, we decided to catch this unrecorded single-phase P-15 in Pierce Township. Christian, Kurt, and Mike attempted this one back in January of 2020 and it failed to sound, but we have recently been stopping by here after tests and seen it facing different directions, so we finally decided to risk it today. This is definitely not in a convenient spot to film, as pretty much everywhere around it is someone's yard, but we managed to pull it off by setting up back in the trees just west of the siren, and it was a success! As you can see, the intake cone has collapsed since early 2020, but it was pretty damn loud despite that (117.8 dBC, 120.8 dBA). To my ears, it was not quite as loud as the one in Montello, but probably about on par with the one at Locust Corner Road. Just like the other 9/12 Penetrators though, I didn't really feel the vibrations from this as much as I have from some other sirens. Anyway, I'm glad we were finally able to get video of this unit sounding! Enjoy!
