This video is exclusively designed for yoga and meditation practice.
Educational content only for mental health and relaxation purposes.

This video is designed to mindfully guide you through a breath based Hatha yoga session in order to creat amazing benefits for your physical and mental health. Today I’m offering you a safe space to start into your day releasing cortisol and reducing morning anxiety with a gentle yoga flow.

As a clinical and health psychologist and Hatha Yoga instructor I'm specialised in creating yoga practices designed for people with high levels of stress, anxiety and/ or depression. Naturally you can benefit from the practice if you are not suffering from these conditions, too.

Specific criteria I keep in mind designing the sessions include the control of stimulation through closing the eyes during the exercise as often as possible, mindful and slow movements, activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, positive reassurance, calming voice and thoroughly chosen words to enhance calmness, focus and self- confidence.

It’s important to practice mindfully especially when you are in a state of physical pain or mental disorder, like anxiety or depression. Nevertheless keeping our body in movement and practicing hatha yoga helps reducing cortisol levels in our blood and therefore improve our mental and physical conditions.

It’s a combination of both mindfulness and breath based Hatha yoga that I apply in this session.
