Roland Quandt and WinFuture have revealed details about the Moto G62 5G, a smartphone that leaked last month alongside the Moto G82 5G. While Motorola has since launched the Moto G82 5G globally and in China as the Moto G71s, the Moto G62 5G has yet to reach the shelves. Still, Quandt and WinFuture have obtained official marketing renders of the Moto G62 5G, along with several specifications.

According to Quandt, Motorola equips the Moto G62 5G with a Snapdragon 480 Plus, which has Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 CPU cores, plus an Adreno 619 GPU. For reference, Motorola was expected to release the Moto G62 5G with a Snapdragon 695 5G, matching the Moto G82 5G. However, a Snapdragon 480 Plus should still outperform the Snapdragon 680 in the Moto G52 by approximately 20%. Like other recent Moto G series smartphones, the Moto G62 5G will launch with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable flash storage.

Meanwhile, Quandt alleges that the Moto G62 5G also has a 5,000 mAh battery, which will power a 6.5-inch display operating at 1080p and 120 Hz. Quandt speculates that the Moto G62 5G could have an OLED display, but this has not been confirmed at this stage. Incidentally, the Moto G62 5G is set to feature a 50 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide, a 2 MP depth or macro sensor and a 16 MP front-facing camera. Quandt adds that the Moto G62 5G will be available for less than €300, although it is unclear when at this stage. Regardless, the Moto G62 5G will ship with Android 12 and will be available in two colours.
