Novelist and free speech advocate Sir Salman Rushdie has told LBC’s Andrew Marr that both Islam and Evangelical Christianity are ‘trying to impose their censorship on the world’.

Rushdie, who was attacked on-stage two years ago, also said that 2024 is ‘a very bad time for free expression.’
