In this video I will take you through a crawl, walk then run through common handgun stoppages. We will examine what happens when the trigger falls on an empty chamber: tap, rack then ready.
We will then show what happens on slide lock: we do an emergency reload. I like to incorporate movement while I’m doing my Reload. At the end of all my drills you’ll see me scan for additional threats before I holster and then my hands come up to a Ready position to defend myself if this deadly force encounter turns into a physical encounter.
