The Bara Shaheed Dargah in Nellore, AP, played host to the unique festival of Rottela Panduga held on the banks of Swarnala Cheruvu (Golden Lake). Rottela Panduga translates to ‘Festival of Flat Breads’ & sees the exchange of 'rotis' between people. People, irrespective of their faith, take part in the festival, some ensuring their presence annually for over 20 years.
