How To Replace a Water Pump in the NewAir AI-215 Series Ice Maker
Tools Required
Regular Screw Driver or Drill
Scissors or Pliers
Zip Ties
Steps Involved
To get started remove any water remaining inside the ice maker (if any) before beginning water pump exchange process, then follow these steps:

Flip the ice maker over so the face of it is flat on the table.
Remove the 7 screws located on the back panel. Remove the 2 screws located on the underside of the left, right and back panels (6 total).
After screws are removed, gently begin to remove the 3 panels: The back one and 2 panels on each side. The back panel will require that you get the power cord through cut-out to fully remove it.
Next, the Support Brace will need to be removed. To do so you will need to remove the 3 screws on the top of it and 2 screws on the bottom of the brace. This will remove the actual water pump.
Remove 1 screw located directly under the water pump to free it from the base of the ice maker.
Pull off the 2 water tubes that are connected to the water pump (One in the front of the water pump and one on top).
Follow water pump wire to the unit's PC board and unplug (Scissor are required to cut off zip ties).
Once the water pump is removed from the unit, unscrew the 2 screws that are holding the water pump and water pump housing together.
Use the housing previously removed, and screw it on to the new water pump (make sure that the base of the water pump housing is facing downwards, this is so it can be screwed onto the base of the ice maker)
Plug in the new water pump to the PC board where you previously removed the old one (It should read "PUMP on the PC board where it needs to be connected to).
Once the water pump is clipped on, you can then place the water pump.
Zip tie any loose wires securely back in place.
Begin to put the support brace back onto its original place. Put the 3 screws on the top and the 2 at the bottom.
Put the 2 side panels in first followed by the back panel (the power cord will need to go thought the cut out on the back panel). You can then screw the 2 side panels and the back panel together. Once the panels are adjusted, you can then secure them to the base of the ice maker.
