NFC tags are a fun way to add an extra personal touch with the latest technology to your commercial print mailers, invitations and direct mail pieces. How can you read NFC tags one may ask? Watch this video to learn more about reading NFC tags with your smart phone!

For an Android device, all the user would need to do is tap the NFC sticker and the video pops up. Usually NFC is already activated but, if it’s not, Android users can activate it by doing the following:

• Go to Settings and select "More".
• Tap on the “NFC” switch to activate it. The Android Beam function
will also automatically turn on.
• If Android Beam does not automatically turn on, just tap it and
select “Yes” to turn it on.

With NFC technology growing quickly in popularity, Apple does have plans to unlock NFC capabilities soon. However, for now, iPhone users will have to download an app to activate NFC on their phone. We recommend the Simply NFC app, but there are many to choose from.
