[FAQ & Info - BMM] Factory resetting Error (When BMM installed)

This is video about Factory resetting the phone...

I uploaded it to show exact eeror which come after you try to factory reset your phone when BMM installed...

As I shown before format option given in BMM so you have to use it to reset your phone...

FAQ :

1) Where all systems are installed ?
Ans. - All systems which you created are install in internal memory of phone (Total 8 GB)
In JB leak, It is given to user to use but in ICS, it is not given to user so you have to change setting for use that space which is secured.


2) Why only ICS user have to change that settings ?
Ans. - As I written in above question in ICS the internal space is not given to user to use. (approx. 5.9 GB)


3) Which Roms we can install why BMM ?
Ans. - The first rom is normal any mobile suitable rom. Other roms which are created for your mobile specialy for BMM & correct for your mobile rom kernel. For kernel info see next question.


4) Which kernel Rom I have to download ?
If you are on ICS then you can install 4.0,4.1,4.2,4.3 roms which have ICS kernel...
If you are on JB leak 1 or leak 2 or leak 3 then you can install 4.1,4.2,4.3 which have kexec kernel.
Now mainly kexec kernel Roms are coming for BMM...


5) Showing CID error while booting phone.
Ans. - I said before, If you are multi-Booting your phone with BMM then you have to take backup of CID in /ext (SD card). Beacuse CID loss is known error of BMM. & when it loss, you can not retrieve it by flshing original Rom. Because it is unique code of every mobile.

By Pressing "Vol UP + Vol Down + Power Button" you can bypass CID checking... (cold reboot)


6) Factory reset problem :
Ans. - I shown the error in video. For that as I said you have to use wipe option in BMM.


7) I have to install app in every Rom ?
Ans. - Yes. But it is good. You have freedom to use different apps in different Rom.
otherwise install apps in one rom & just take backup of apps with data & restore them on other Roms. On 4.2,4.3 you can use some apps which can not install on 4.1. So you can install them on JB+,JB++ Roms.


8) Calls log, Massages ?
Ans. - It is also different for every Rom. I think which is not good from my point of view. Because when you are using any rom you can not check, another Rom's call log or any massage. Every time taking backup & restoring is annoying. So just sunc the call logs & massages with your gmail account if you want so you can access them from any Rom. (Even from another mobile)


9) Exact location of .img (system, data, cache) ?
Ans. - in System root /data/clockworkmod/virtual/ (System_*)/ (cache,data,system).img


10) If I installed bootstrap before ?
Ans. - Check my previous video, how to remove bootstrap it's files & install BMM.


11) location of BMM installed files?
Ans. - /etc/bmm


12) Can I access Internal Storage from every Rom (JB users) ?
Ans. - Sorry. But you can use internal storage only from first rom & other roms can use only SD card (ext). So files which are required every time that you have to save in SD card. (CID backup also for safety.)

13) MB865 & ME865 can use same Roms ?
Ans. - Yes. but with some roms battery drain issue occurs. Because it depend on version. But otherwise it can be used for both. But AT&T mobiles required different procedure.
