Centre Vs Farmers Over Farm Laws: Harsimrat Kaur Badal Vs Sushanshu Trivedi | India Today

A representative group of the protesting farmers met Union ministers Piyush Goyal and Narendra Tomar for the second round of talks with the Centre today. A delegation of 40 farmers was in Delhi for the talks. However, there was no outcome. The next meeting will be held on December 5. It is to be noted that the Delhi-Noida link road has been closed for traffic once again at the Chilla border area. Delhi-Haryana borders at Singhu and Tikri continue to remain closed for traffic movement as the farmers continue to camp on the roads. Meanwhile, Parkash Badal returned Padma Vibhushan award over Farm laws.

Speaking on India Today's special show Newstrack with Rahul Kanwal, Akali Dal leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal said, "Look at the plight of the Anndaata's today, they are out on the streets and begging."

BJP's Sudhanshu Trivedi counters her arguments.
