Back to basics! Here's a simple animated video explanation of using possessive adjectives for Spanish learners. There are a lot of similarities with English, but it's not quiiiiiite exactly the same. You'll notice right away, for example, that "his," "her," and "their" are the SAME WORD in Spanish!

Summary:
The possessive adjectives for each of the subject pronouns you already know are:
Yo = mi
Tú = tu
Él = su
Ella = su
Usted = su
Nosotros = nuestro/a/s
Vosotros (Spain only) = vuestro/a/s
Ellos = su
Ellas = su
