Don't make these mistakes with low mount turbos

Описание к видео Don't make these mistakes with low mount turbos

Low mount turbos have been around for decades but when it comes to an aftermarket application there's a few things that need to be addressed to ensure that you don't flood your turbo and piping with oil..

Too Long Didn't watch:
Low mount turbos require a "Sump" with a breather to displace the oil being removed.
If two turbos are being used its Recommended to use TWO scavenge pumps or have a common sump for the two turbos.
1MM oil restrictors should be used for ball bearing turbos, check with your turbo manufacturer if unsure.
Once the engine is switched off, residual oil pressure will be filling the turbo sumps, residual check valves are used to stop this from occurring and flooding your turbos.
