I can't think of a better way to start off the new zoo year than to bring you to one of the most accomplished zoological facilities in the world. The Georgia Aquarium, only opened in 2005, set a new standard of aquatic displays to levels that no other place in the hemisphere has come close to reaching or mimicking. Racking up world records before the doors even opened. We begin appropriately with the Ocean Voyager, a colossal, 6.3 million gallon tank that even puts the parents in awe. Though the Voyager went unrecognized by the AZA in terms of Awards, this one tank holds a few records of it's own. Please enjoy, as I take you through the LARGEST TANK in the WORLD, and watch Whale Sharks, and Manta Rays fly over our heads.
