Best Tips and Tricks to Thread a Needle

In this video, I share my favorite sewing hacks to thread a needle easily. No squinting, no hairspray to stiffen the thread. These are my favorite tools for easy needle threading and my favorite tips and tricks!

Most people thread a needle by holding an inch or so of thread between their fingers and try to guide the thread through the eye of the needle. When the thread is flimsy and floppy and the eye is tiny and your eyesight isn’t great and your hand not that steady… this can be a frustrating job.

I’ll explain 2 techniques for which you don’t need extra tools: “pinch the-thread” & “rub the thread” and show you how 4 different threading tools work: a desktop hand needle threader, a wire loop threader, a machine needle threader and the built-in threader of my home sewing machine.
