A special place from Dr Lillian Cespedes Gonzalez's childhood like most kids who grew in the city, this is a green public space that counts with a mini zoo, lovely forested parks, the palace of the Magdalena - old summer residence for the Spanish monarchy, and a very dark secret.

Home to the first concentration camp in Spain during the Spanish Civil War and Franquist Dictatorship, this beautiful natura space with views over to the Cantabrian sea and the bay of Santander tells the stories of times of hardship and pain for the locals.
