Drill for grass roots football to combine compination passing, lay off to shoot and goal scoring.

Technique
Three payers
Four cones
One goal

1. Start where P1 passes ball to P2. Important to demostrate (not illustrated on the video) that both P2 and P3 make a movement and check their shoulder at the time P1 passes the ball to create some realism.

2. As soon as P1 passes the ball, P2 moves to recive, P3 at the same time begins his run around the bottom right cone to receive the ball from P1.

3. At the same time P2 passes back to P1.

4. P2 then runs to anticpate a lay off from P3.

5. P2, in receipt of the lay off, takes a shot on goal.

Skill
Add a defender.

Progression
Switch the play so first pass is to the right.

Game
Progress to a game where only a combination play will be allowed a goal.
