Wheel offset - Basics

Описание к видео Wheel offset - Basics

New wheels can completely transform your car and understanding the wheel offset is critical to its fitment. Simply put, the relation of the mounting hub in comparison to the center point of the wheel will determine the offset.
To measure:
1. Determine overall wheel width in inches. Take the overall with and divide by 2, this measurement is the center point. To convert the inches to millimeters multiply the inches by 25.4
2. Next, measure the backspace, which is the measurement from the rear of the wheel to the mounting hub.
3. The distance between the "center point" and the "backspace" in millimeters is your offset.
**You have a positive offset if the backspace measurement is greater than the center point measurement.
**You have a negative offset if the backspace measurement is less than the center point measurement.
