Forty years ago, on 18 June 1983, the Islamic Republic of Iran hanged 10 Baha'i women in Shiraz. Their crime was to refuse renouncing beliefs such as gender equality, unity, justice and truthfulness.

The #OurStoryIsOne campaign honors these women and the long struggle for gender equality lived by women of all faiths and backgrounds in Iran – a struggle which continues to this day.
