Thailand trip | Visiting the Hmong people in the mountains of Thailand | Hmong Village

I'm not sure what took me so long to visit a real Hmong village but I will not wait this long again for my next trip back! In 1975 after the Vietnam War ended, many Hmong families fled Laos and sought asylum in Thailand. My parents and older siblings were some of those people. They resettled in America shortly, while other families resettled in other countries, returned to Laos, or stayed in Thailand after the camps closed. In this video, we visit those Hmong families whom have resettled in the mountains of Thailand.

This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Thailand. One of the most fulfilling experiences I could have imagined, and I hope to return in the near future and give back again to these children.
