Recipe:
2 ¼ cups AP flour (heat treated)
1 cup butter slightly melted
1 ¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp whole milk
2 cups chocolate chips (or 1 cup chocolate chips + 1 cup nuts)


Instructions:
1. Place flour in a microwave safe bowl, microwave on high heat for 2 minutes, remove and stir flour every 30 second to distribute the heat evenly. Alternatively, you can place the flour in a thin layer on a baking sheet and place it into a preheated 350F oven for about 7-10 minutes, stir about half way through. The final temperature should be 160F. After heat treatment, allow the flour to come down to room temperature completely.
2. Chop up butter and allow to come to room temperature, place in the microwave for about 15 seconds to melt slightly buy not all the way
3. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy
4. Add salt, vanilla, and milk, beat well until light and fluffy and fully mixed
5. Add flour and mix until well combined
6. Stir in your chocolate chips/nuts

Store in a container with a tight-fitting lid in the fridge for 5 to 7 days
