So you're in Real Estate, and you've been told you need to get a coach, and someone else told you you need to get a mentor, and you're thinking, "what's the difference? I already have a trainer!".

Typically, a trainer is someone that's going to simply help you fill out documents and paperwork, set appointments for clients in the MLS, etc. That's training.

So where do mentors and coaches come in?

Once you're past training and you've sold some houses, you realize you're coming across some more complex problems. Enter the mentor.

A mentor is someone who has a lot of experience, and is going to share their life experiences and show you how to overcome some of those more complicated transactions, successfully handle multiple offers, and keep your fiduciary to your client.

Then you get into coaching. I recommend coaching for anyone who already knows how to fill out the contract, who's already had and been able to overcome some different challenges in real estate, but has hit a level of success where they need a breakthrough of some sort.

Even realtors at the top of their game have coaches, and even top coaches have coaches!
