While driving downtown I accidentally turned the wrong way on a one way street, which is apparently one of the four WORST CRIMES in MEXICO! 🤦‍♂️ Or at least, that's what the police officer told me. I realized it as soon as I turned the corner, but the officer was right there waiting...almost as if he was waiting because he knows that particular intersection isn't well-marked...but what do I know.

I later found out that receiving a one-way traffic violation is somewhat of a right of passage-- most of my friends here have also received one. Here's how that entire process went for me, and where you need to go to pay the fine if it happens to you!
