Continuing winter prep tasks this week: Insulating the shed which will be our off grid solar power station/battery bank and getting lights and wall outlets installed, building the sled for hauling the cabin materials back to the cabin site, and taking a day to enjoy the gorgeous Fall colors of the Alaska Range along the Denali Highway. We spot wildlife, get startled by a ptarmigan and dazzled by the many hues of autumn in the Alaskan wilderness.
