Welcome to another episode of our Megachurch Messiness series. In today’s video, we’ll be discussing the mystical man of God, otherwise known as Peter Popoff. Peter has been around for decades, and his basic message has remained the same: God wants us to be healthy, rich, successful, and debt-free.

Peter also claims to be a prophet sent by God to help people transform their lives from poverty to affluence. But a big scandal erupted, and he destroyed his ministries in the 80s. As of this video, he has reemerged with late-night ads that directly target the Black community.
