🔥 Today, I made Iranian Istanbul rice for lunch 🥙

Today for lunch I made a delicious Iranian dish called Istanbul Plou. It's a flavorful and aromatic rice dish that is packed with a variety of spices and herbs. To start, I sautéed onions and garlic in a large pot until they were golden brown and fragrant. Then, I added in ground beef and cooked it until it was browned and cooked through.

Next, I added in a mixture of spices including turmeric, cumin, cinnamon, and cardamom. The spices filled the kitchen with a warm and inviting aroma that made my mouth water in anticipation. I also added in some chopped tomatoes and tomato paste to give the dish a rich and tangy flavor.

After the meat was well seasoned, I added in basmati rice and water to the pot. I let the rice simmer and absorb all of the delicious flavors from the meat and spices. Once the rice was cooked through and fluffy, I fluffed it with a fork and garnished it with chopped parsley and toasted almonds.

The Istanbul Plou was a hit at lunch, with its bold flavors and comforting textures. It was a satisfying and hearty meal that left me feeling full and content. I will definitely be making this dish again in the future.
