Dr. SHEKAR SUBBAIAH
NEONATOLOGIST

Dr. Shekar Subbaiah is a neonatologist from last 15 yrs and practicing senior Neonatologist in India from last 8 yrs after relocating from Sydney, Australia in 2012. Initially he took the responsibility as a Neonatologist and medical Director in Cloudnine, Malleswaram Bangalore. Later along with his colleagues, started Kangaroo Care Women & Child Hospital in Vijaynagar, Bangalore which is expanding slowly and steadily across the state and other parts of India. He is a very positive person and is trying to become a successful entrepreneur with his administrative and social skills. He has been part of various charitable initiatives previously in post graduation days.

Dr. Shekar Subbaiah has completed his MBBS from Mysore Medical College and MD (Paediatrics) from Bangalore. Later he got an opportunity to get trained in Australia.

Dr. Shekar Subbaiah has also completed Bailey's course as a part of training and functional neonatal echocardiography from the Australasian College of ultrasound medicine. His other academic qualifications are Masters in Medical administration (NSW University, Australia) and he is a Fellow of Royal college of Medical Administrators.

Research and Publications
He has a significant academic background with teaching skills for his juniors and students. He has his Thesis presented in IAP conference, has few case reports and series in Australia and India. Also back in India, there has been a pilot study on GBS infection on antenatal cases. Also he has been involved in few studies published from Cloudnine Hospitals in reputed journals.
