EP - 3 Exploring Ubud Market | Tempeh and Tofu Making Process | Sun Sun Warung, Bali Indonesia

We visited the Tempeh and Tofu factory here in Ubud, Bali to learn about the Making process of Tempeh & Tofu. This was our 3rd day here in Ubud.

Date of Journey - 21st March 2024

Driver who accompanid us on day 1 - Dewa - +62818569293 , since his father was unwell, so rest of the days his brother in law - Mr. Kadeck was with us.

Below are the Activities we did throughout the day.

Tempeh & Tofu Factory - We started our day in the morning by visiting the “Tempeh & Tofu Factory” here in Ubud. This is a very common food all over in Bali or Indonesia so I was curious to see the making process of Tempeh and Tofu.

Here we Understand the Whole Process of how Tempeh and Tofu are made.

Lunch near Ubud Market - After this, we had our Lunch near the Ubud market at the famous Authentic Balinese Restaurant Sun Sun Warung. We had Vegan food - Bihun Goreng Vegan (Fried rice vermicelli with vegetables) & Dessert we had Bubur Injin (Black Rice Pudding)


Food Cost - Bihun Goreng Vegan - 39,000 IDR (200 INR)
Bubur Injin - 25,000 IDR (180 INR)

Overall, I was highly impressed with the place & food of this warung.

Ubud Market - After this, we travelled around 1 km from the Sun Sun Warung and reached to explore the famous Ubud Market near the Ubud Palace.

Here you can buy beautiful Artwork, handicrafts, garments & many more. But here you have to Bargain alot to get a fair price.

I have Purchased a Purse and 2 Shirts & a shorts for myself.

Cost - Purse - 1,00,000 IDR (510 INR)
Printed Shirt - 1,50,000 IDR (750 INR)
Shirt - 1,55,000 IDR (800 INR)
Shorts - 78,000 IDR (400 INR)


After this, we also purchased a Mangosteen Tea from here.

Mangosteen Tea - 50,000 IDR (260 INR)

Bali Star Coffee - After this we visited a Coffee shop where we saw the many types of Coffee & then we had a cup of Luwak Coffee there.

Breeding Luwak Coffee - 50,000 IDR (260 INR)

After this, we ended our day.
