✅ Recommended Approach:

Split into 4TB chunks (safety margin)

Use parallel uploads for speed

Create manifest file for reconstruction

Consider data format optimization (Parquet vs CSV)

Use appropriate storage class for cost optimization

📊 Example for 10TB file:

Split into 3 chunks: 4TB + 4TB + 2TB

Upload time: ~2-4 hours (with good bandwidth)

Cost: Same as storing 10TB normally

Access: Can process chunks in parallel

Bottom Line: You cannot store a single file larger than 5TB object in S3, but you can easily manage a single file larger than 5TB datasets by splitting them into multiple objects with proper organization and tooling.
