Remaking a poofy 1980s dress from a vintage sewing manual || 80s fashion

In this video I will remake the first dress I ever made.
I have a pattern from a vintage sewing manual I own.


As the spring approached I realized that it's been a year since I started sewing. The first dress I ever made was an 80s dress from a sewing manual from this time. Sadly it's not wearable bacause of the materials it was made from. I really liked the cut of it thought (espacially the poofy sleeves) so I decided to try making it again. I guess because it was my first sewing project it's ok for begginers (?) but it did take a big learning curve to make. I do really like this 1980s dress and I'm happy to have more vintige fashion inspired clothing in my warderobe. 80s fashion might not be my favorite dacade but it's definately welcomed in my historory inspired warderobe.
