Jordan Adams was just 23 doctors gave him the devastating news that he carries a faulty copy of the MAPT gene and will develop Frontotemporal Dementia in the next 15 years. The symptoms are likely to start in his early 40s.

Jordan has already lost his mother, aunts and cousins to the disease. Jordan’s younger brother, Cian has also been diagnosed with the gene. Now, at 28, Jordan has vowed to dedicate his life to finding a cure and aims to raise 1 million pounds for Alzheimer's Research UK. Jordan firmly believes that we are “at the beginning of the end” for dementia and wants people to know that the disease is NOT a natural part of ageing.
