Is it worth the hype?!? Finally made it to Apollonia’s Pizzeria in LA, and I understand this pizza 🍕being number 58 on the list to try in the world! The vibe around this Pizzeria yells LA..no parking, cash only, and the lines are long. We ordered one classic large round pizza and another square.

The round pizza is the winner to me! Went with my favorite combo pepperoni and jalapeño. Dont think ive wver seen a more perfect undercarriage than this slice here. Perfect crust, the sauce was not heavy at all,the pepperonis are legit, once you bite the crust you realize the flavor in this pizza is everythingyoh need.

The square, we went with the vodka sauce and cheese. The crust is crunchy, cheesy and salty. For me it was a little too salty but the round crispy edge of cheese definitely adds to that. It was slightly chewy, and too stale the crust was. I regret not trying the burrata, and I’ll definitely go back and try that one with their house sauce instead of the vodka sauce.
