Jobava London OTB Analysis

Join me as I walk you through a very recent game I played over the board against a VERY strong opponent! This was a casual game at an informal chess meet up and I was able to remember and input the game online.

I try to give you an idea of what I was thinking and my plans and my ideas as the game progressed. And then I turn on the engine and we look at it deeper in analysis(i stumble upon a great lesson learned).

In this game, I play the Jobava London with the white pieces and things get spicy early!

When I uploaded the game online I was amazed to find just how accurate I played, also being awarded a brilliant middle game! Better yet, my opponent has already beat me 12 times in a row up to this point lol and is much better and stronger chess player than me. He's roughly around 2100-2250 online, while my peak is 1700. I just got lucky with an opening advantage and was able to hold and press it to the end.

Since I rarely celebrate my successes, I felt sharing this fantastic game was worth the effort.
